The History of Our Innovation

Our story is one of innovation born from determination and 20 years of industry experience. For years, our founder, Troy Timm, worked in the motor winding industry, where he repeatedly observed a growing problem: premature bearing failures in electric motors powered by variable frequency drives (VFDs). While this issue was already recognized and bearing protection had become an industry standard in Western countries, it was often ignored or misdiagnosed in Africa and other emerging markets.

Troy decided to find a solution. He spent three years conducting intensive research and analyzing thousands of damaged bearings. He discovered that the cause of the failures was so-called shaft currents, which damaged bearings through electrical arcing. This is how the idea for a product that would effectively and permanently protect motors from this phenomenon was born.
